Lucy Nichol—Panic Attacks

How do we see recovery? Through her counsellor, Lucy Nichol discovered a secret that helped with her ongoing recovery. After a panic attack that left Lucy feeling she was back at square one, her counsellor reminded her, “Lucy, you may have had another episode of anxiety, but it hasn’t taken you back to the beginning of your illness. You are still in a better place now than you were back then.”

In this session, we learn that taking a longer view on our journey of recovery can really give us a necessary perspective when fear is the loudest voice.
