Mentality Meets Denise Stephenson

Mentality Meets is now part of Peter’s Mind Shift Forum 2021 initiative. Find out more.

Join Peter for this LIVE recording of Mentality Meets as he interviews Denise Stephenson exploring both stories and strategies to help change today’s culture of mental health.

In this session they will be discussing: Discrimination & Race.

Would I treat you differently? As a white man I want to ask, am I discriminating against people of colour? Most of us would never think of ourselves as having racist prejudices. Yet I wonder… do l look at people, speak to people, or engage with people differently if they don’t look like me? Perhaps like me, you consciously celebrate race and diversity. But there is still a question: are my actions actually helpful to those who experience discrimination? That’s why I am asking Denise to join me so we can talk all things about race and discrimination and how it impacts on our mental health.
